The performer introduces a combination Padlock. He emphasizes that the lock can not be opened by any random series of numbers. He then asks a volunteer to hand over his/her wedding ring. It is a box with two doors covering both compartments with a space between the doors. One of the doors is opened and a selected card is placed into the compartment and the door is closed.

Tilting the box to the other side, open the door and say the card has vanished from the box.

The spectators can actually see the card sliding from one compartment to the other through the space between the doors.

Open the door a little and pretend as if it has happened accidently and let the spectator be sure that the card is actually sliding...
