With Christmas approaching fast it is time to think about presents for the next generation

of budding magicians. On of the best buys this year has to be Hocus Jokus by Steve Charney

which is a very informative & jokey book covering all aspects of magic & performing. I have just 'googled'

this book and we are £1.00 cheaper than WHSmiths, can't be bad!

Although the postal strike is over for now there are still very significant delays in the postal system.

We have posted all orders promptly but many are still stuck in sorting offices. The worst areas

for delays appear to be the West Country, Liverpool and Scotland.

At the time of writing the post office are advising of significant delays.

The Royal Mail will be on strike from Thursday - Tuesday. Please allow longer than usual for your

order to reach you. They will still prioritise Special Delivery mail but will not guarantee it for Next Day.

During the strike period we will be using DHL & Fedex to ship larger orders at our discretion.

Unfortunately it has been a while since I've been able to update this page.

I have been very busy sourcing excellent new products and researching some website enhancements

which will become live later this month.

Since the last update we have added over 100 products including flash money in

£5, £10, £20 & €20 notes, Premium Grade Flash Paper from Phoenix Flash Products

which is so thick that it looks like quality writing paper but burns quickly & cleanly.

I am very excited about the great new tricks we have added this week, especially  Therma-Lot,

a lota bowl in the shape of a flask, what could be more natural?

We have had a few requests for a good heavy, well balanced wand suitable for manipulations

and spinning. We are proud to add the Large Stage Wand by Telic to our product range.

The feel of these wands is amazing!

Not before time we have added a Hypnotism section for those of you looking to perform

Stage Hypnotism. Initially there are a couple of great DVDs for you to get practising with. More items coming soon...

We have been very busy over the past month planning upgrades to the site and researching new suppliers. We have a

new range of great puppets available in 3 different sizes. The small ones are great for children to use or as 'Children' in a vent act (unless you have very big hands!). All the new puppets meet or exceed all the toy safety regulations and are CE marked so they make great children's presents. They are far from being just a toy though and would make a fantastic addition to any act, especially to bring a multicultural feel to your act...

With the news that thousands, if not millions of credit card details have been stolen from a well known US retailer by Hackers we thought it

would be a great time to remind you that we do not store your credit card details online. In fact, if you purchase from us by using your credit card and either

the Paypal or Nochex options, we never know your credit card details.  We can also reassure those of you who prefer to order with our downloadable order form

or by telephone. We do not store any credit card details online or on computer. They are Hacker Proof! All paper records are kept securely locked away and shredded when

no longer required.

We have been lucky enough to secure supplies of the David Blaine Fearless DVD which have been signed by David himself!

I must apologise for the lack of updates over the last month.

We have been busy restocking after Christmas and have also welcomed several new suppliers aboard.

We are proud to be stocking the card magic and books of Paul Gordon. His tricks and books offer exceptional value for money

and are mostly relatively easy to use.

We have also launched our own brand of Flash Paper, wool & string. These are made for us within the UK

and are of consistently high quality.

Forcing Decks (1 Way) are now available with a choice of the force card. They are still priced at only £4.99 per deck making them fantastic value.

We believe we are the only UK website offering this service.

We hope you had a magical Christmas and wish all our customers a prosperous New Year.

Wow, We had our busiest December ever, Thank you all!

Unfortunately this is reflected in the high level of out of stock items.

Even as I type, replacement stock is on its way along with some great new items.

We are proud to feature a new supplier this year.

We will be stocking a range of fantastic tricks and books from the fantastic Paul Gordon. Our first delivery is due to arrive next week.

Keep a look out for his version of the magicians insurance policy which is sure to get you remembered by everyone who sees you perform it.

UK Posting Methods: Since Pricing in Proportion was introduced by the Royal Mail earlier this year our postage bill has more than doubled.

To keep our prices as low as possible it has been decided to offer tiered shipping.

We will still give the Free Shipping option by default but we will now use the most economic shipping method eg 2nd class, 3 day courier etc.

However, if you require your item quicker you can upgrade to either '1st Class Recorded' or 'Special Delivery'.

The cost for each option will be displayed in the drop down box.

We will be reviewing Airmail postage during January.

We apologise for the lack of updates recently but we have all been 'picking & packing' the Christmas orders.

We have nearly sold out of all magic & practical joke sets with no more due to arrive until the New Year.

We will be shipping orders up to Mid Day on Friday 22nd December when we will close until Thursday 28th December.

Last Posting:

The Last posting date for first class is Tuesday 19th, for delivery in time for Christmas.

From our experience we would suggest that if an order must get there for Christmas it is best to get it in before that date to be on the safe side,

as the closer you get the more risky it becomes.

Our last Royal mail despatch date is Friday the 22nd, but delivery would not then be until after Christmas.

We have managed to get further supplies of all the little Joker practical joke sets excluding the Gross Joke set which is still out of stock.

The Pub Tricks & Bar Stunts Magic Set has sold out but we now have "25 Stupid Bar Bets Magic Set" which is great fun & offers exceptional value.

The "Soc-O-Magic" sets are selling well and we would advise ordering early to avoid disappointment. We are expecting further magic sets to arrive shortly.

At the moment they appear to be taking a tour of the USA courtesy of the courier company. We are hoping that they will arrive by Wednesday at the latest.

As predicted, we are now out of stock of 2 of the Practical joke kits and the others are on very low stock levels.

It is unlikely that we will have any more before Christmas.

We have just received a new delivery which includes 3 different "Soc-O-Magic" sets which offer great value.

Each set includes 8 great magic tricks, some of which are unusual to find in kids magic sets, in a red net stocking ready to hang up on Christmas Eve.
