The Magic Nevin Break Away Wand - Tips & Tricks
Thank you for purchasing the MagicNevin Breakaway Wand. I am sure that your wand will soon have a worthy place in your childrens magic show and would like to share a few tips with you which are not covered in the instructions.
The most common query we have is how to fit the insert . At first, this appears impossible as it is longer than the gap it fits into but once you have the knack you will be able to easily add the insert to your MagicNevin Break A Way Wand however, before you try fitting it will you use it?
The insert is only really required if you are going to have the Break Away Wand stood on your table as if in a pencil pot, milk glass, foo can, etc or standing proud out of your top pocket. If you are just going to have it laying flat on your table or in your prop box you will not need the insert. Instead, when you pick it up, grip the white end closest to you with your little finger or ring finger (clenched as in a fist) with the wand extending out of your fist, grip the first black segment with your thumb & first finger and push forward (see photo 1). This will take up the slack and keep the wand rigid. When your 'helper' takes the wand it will go limp as you release your grip. As long as you grip it as described when taking it back from your helper you can make the wand rigid again immediately. This can be repeated as often as you like and plays well with younger children.

We supply a spare cord in case the fitted cord breaks, stretches or becomes too loose or is too tight for your preference.
