This section of the website is home to some truly dazzling, yet simple tricks. These include the seemingly-impossible penetration of a coin through an apparently solid cup. This works using magnets, and so relies on a coin that can be magnetised – it’ll work even in the palm of a spectator’s hand.
Or, if you want to try your hand at some telepathy, you might consider the amazing ‘Thought Transfer’ trick. This involves a small plastic card stand and a quintet of special cards with special symbols printed on them. Through this trick, a magician can successfully guess which of the five symbols the spectator is guessing – to the delight and amazement of everyone present!
You might also try the plastic spoon-bending trick by Werry – this allows you go have a spoon bend without using chemicals, magnets or heat. Or maybe you’d like the poltergeist trick – where a spectator can choose a random card from the deck, which the magician places in a sealed box along with the others – but not for long! The poltergeist springs the box open – sending the deck flying, but leaving the chosen card at the top of the chaos.
